Tuesday, 23 December 2008Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!The shopping has been done (apparently) and the presents have been wrapped. We're all set to enjoy the end of year festivities and would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers, suppliers and friends a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.We're effectively closed from lunchtime Christmas Eve until Monday 29th, and then closed for the day on New Years Day. However, Neil will be working all the way through, so messages will be checked and emails will be picked up. 2008 has certainly been an eventful year for Blue Planet, and our most successful yet. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved this year and that is in no small part down to our lovely customers. We feel we've improved right across the board this year - growing in the way we do business and produce websites, and (we hope) improving our customer service too. There is still a long way to go, however, and 2009 will see more improvements in the services and products that we can offer, and how we look after our customers. A business friend of mine told me how he had watched the all-time classic Christmas movie, It's A Wonderful Life, a few days ago and how it provided him with a timely reminder that it's good to keep things in perspective. In these turbulent times where we are constantly bombarded with news of financial doom and gloom, we feel it's particularly relevant.
